Rajon Rondo is really, really good.

If you don't know, now you know. Rajon Rondo is a beast.

Watching him outduel Steve Nash last night on national television was a thing of beauty. Rondo finished with 23 points (on 9-15 shooting), 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and he even hit a three. Suns fans and Celtics-haters alike will point to the fact that the Suns are in the midst of a tough road trip, and were playing the second game of a back-to-back. It makes sense that Nash was a little tired. But Rajon didn't just drive past Nash, he took on the entire Phoenix team, Shaq and Amar'e included. With deft moves and his patented ball-fakes, Rondo took over this game and led the Celtics to an easy 104-87 victory.

Rajon Rondo, whose name is so sweet that he needs no nickname, is quickly gaining attention as one of the premier young players in the league. It's been said before but I'll reiterate...if he develops an 18 ft. jump shot the rest of the league is in serious trouble. How could you even guard him?

So in honor of Rajon and with many thanks to www.Redsarmy.com (the best Celtics blog on the web), I present to you my current desktop background. Click the picture for a larger copy that you can save and set as your background!
